Stray Kids’ Seungmin appeared in Burberry’s Festival campaign in celebration of his ambassadorship with the designer brand.
The K-pop idol was styled head-to-toe in tailored designer wear affixed with the brand’s signature plaid motif. Seungmin joins a lengthy list of ambassadors for Burberry, including a mix of actors, musicians and athletes such as Barry Keoghan, Jack Draper, Tang Wei, Chen Kun and Bright Vachirawit.

Burberry
“It is an honor to join the Burberry family,” said Seungmin in a press release. “It’s an iconic British brand with a rich heritage, and I love that connection — I’m excited to be part of its future.”
Seungmin acts as the main vocalist for the boy band Stray Kids. The South Korean group consists of eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N. The group has reached many milestones since their debut in 2018. Among them, the band received a Billboard Music Award for Top Global K-pop Artist in 2024. Six of their albums have also debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200.
To celebrate the K-pop artist’s ambassadorship, we’re showing you how to get Seungmin’s look from the festival campaign, down to the shirt he wore and the coat on his back.
Long Gabardine Car Coat in Fossil
A taupe trench coat with turtleshell buttons.
Burberry’s trench coats are beyond iconic. This one — which we think Seungmin wore in the campaign — is the brand’s Long Gabardine Car Coat in the Fossil colorway. This trench is a taupe hue and comes equipped with decorative turtleshell buttons accompanied by a collared neckline and a peekaboo plaid lining. The coat also features a belted waist and a large Burberry tag affixed to the collar. The coat is oversized and works well layered overtop something else. Seungmin wore his coat open to show off his outfit beneath. You’d be keen on styling this trench with tailored pieces such as slacks or a polo to lean into the preppy vibes.
Check Cotton Shirt in Mauve Gray
A plaid collared shirt with contrasting striping and long sleeves.
Playful in plaid, Seungmin was also styled in a new Check Cotton Shirt in Mauve Grey. The top was worn slightly unbuttoned and tucked into his pants. This piece is made of breezy and soft cotton and features a subtle button closure, a point collar, single-button cuffs and a uniquely curved hem that creates a flattering fit. The plaid print comes in shades of gray, white black and red, mirroring the plaid lining of his trench coat. Like Seungmin’s styling, we’d suggest tucking this piece into slacks or denim to create a sleek and tailored appearance.
Loose Check Denim Jeans in Indigo
Denim plaid jeans with a loose fit.
Not your average denim, Seungmin’s bottoms are the Loose Check Denim Jeans in the shade Indigo. They look more like slacks than jeans. The pair is extremely chic and baggy, including a unique but understated plaid print accompanied by a distressed appearance.
Button and zipper closures give way to a suede patch with Burberry’s Equestrian Knight Design at the back. It’s all about contrast. These pants look tailored and preppy, but the oversized fit and denim fabric lean more casual. Thanks to this, you can style these slacks both casual and formal. We envision these slacks worn with a crisp white tee tucked in, accompanied by a baggy black leather jacket and low-top lifestyle sneakers.
