Maserati MCPura India details
India-spec MCPura and MCPura Cielo are identical to the international model
In terms of its engine, specifications and other metrics, the India-spec Maserati MCPura and MCPura Cielo are identical to the model on sale abroad. Both, the supercar and its drop-top version are powered by the brand’s ubiquitous 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine, which makes 630hp and 720Nm of torque in these mid-engined supercars. Maserati claims a 0-100kph time of 2.9 seconds for the coupe.
Interestingly, the MCPura Cielo is priced Rs 19 lakh less than the MC20 Cielo, which has been available in India since May this year.
Design is more aggressive than the MC20
Compared to the MC20, the MCPura sports more aggressive and aero-enhancing design changes, courtesy long-standing race car firm Dallara, which fine-tuned its aerodynamic efficiency. The Italian brand says that there is a vivid colour palette specifically designed for the car, but the highlight colour is called AI Aqua Rainbow, which changes colour in the sun to produce a rainbow-like effect. The coupe gets a matte finish while the convertible has a glossy one.
Among the highlights of the new Maserati supercar are the butterfly wing doors, the carbon fibre monocoque chassis, and the retractable glass roof for the convertible version. Maserati claims a kerb weight of 1,500 for the coupe.
Interior is similar to the MC20

Highlights of the MCPura’s interior include the the Alcantara seats with laser-etching that creates a 3D effect, and contrasting interior elements – MCPura coupe’s details are glossy, while the Cielo convertible has matte detailing.
