This 2002 Bentley Azure is one of 71 non-Mulliner-specification examples produced for the model year, and it now has 14k miles. Powered by a turbocharged 6.75-liter V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission, the car is finished in Silver Tempest over Cotswold leather. Equipment includes a power-retractable gray convertible soft top, quad headlights, a mesh front grille, 18″ split five-spoke alloy wheels, heated and power-adjustable front seats, burl walnut interior trim, and automatic climate control. The car was registered in several states and Canada before it was listed on BaT in October 2021, and approximately $11k of subsequent work is said to have included replacing the top hydraulic cylinders. Acquired by the current owner in 2022, this Azure is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Carfax report and a Connecticut registration.
The first-generation Azure was developed in collaboration with Pininfarina and was based on the Continental R. The Azure’s bodywork and convertible top were built by Pininfarina in Italy and then transported to the UK for final assembly at Crewe. This example is finished in Silver Tempest and features a power-retractable gray convertible soft top, quad headlights, a mesh front grille, and dual exhaust outlets. Paint protection film was applied from the windshield forward under previous ownership, and seams from the film can be seen on the leading edge of the hood and front fenders. Imperfections are visible on the hood to the right of the grille surround. The headlight optical sensor and bonnet struts are said to have been replaced under current ownership, and the selling dealer tells us that the top hydraulic cylinders were recently replaced.

Chrome-plated 18″ double-spoke wheels are wrapped in 255/50 Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. Equipment includes traction control and anti-lock disc brakes at all four corners. The car rides on an electronically controlled suspension system, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs at each corner. The Carfax report indicates the brake lines were replaced or repaired in 2022.

The heated and power-adjustable front seats and individual rear seats are upholstered in Cotswold leather with blue piping and are accented by burl walnut trim on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include a car phone located in the center console, a CD stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, wool carpets, and power-adjustable and heated front seats with memory function.

The leather-trimmed steering wheel fronts a 170-mph speedometer and a 5k-rpm tachometer. Instrumentation housed in the center stack includes an analog clock and outside temperature gauge in addition to gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer indicates 14k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. The previous listing for the car indicates the check engine light illuminates intermittently.

The turbocharged and intercooled 6.75-liter V8 features a single Garrett turbocharger and was factory rated at 400 horsepower. The spark plugs were replaced in April 2022.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
The vehicle does not have a title, as it is located in a state that does not issue titles to vehicles of its age. It is being offered on its Connecticut registration.
