This 1971 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is powered by a 455ci V8 linked to a Turbo Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Cameo White with a blue stripe and Firebird graphics. Equipment includes a shaker hood, an X-pipe exhaust system, front and rear spoilers, honeycomb-style wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, and MSD ignition components. The cabin is outfitted with front bucket seats, a rear-seat console, blue vinyl upholstery, an aftermarket head unit and audio equipment, and a heater. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2025, this Firebird Trans Am is now offered with the owner’s manuals and a clean Florida title.
The car left the factory finished in Cameo White (11), and exterior details include a shaker hood, a blue over-the-top stripe, Firebird graphics, a front air dam and spoiler, front fender vents, a decklid spoiler, and polished exhaust outlets. Close-up photos of the paint and trim are provided in the gallery.
The honeycomb-style wheels are mounted with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. The car is equipped with power steering along with power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with Wilwood rear calipers.
The seating surfaces are trimmed in blue vinyl and are joined by color-keyed carpets and door panels. Interior equipment includes front bucket seats, a center console, a rear-seat console, front shoulder belts, an aftermarket head unit, a trunk-mounted subwoofer enclosure, and a heater.
The Formula steering wheel fronts an engine-turned dashboard fascia with a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 71k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.
The 455ci V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, MSD ignition components, and chrome valve covers. The selling dealer tells us an oil change and a tune up were completed in preparation for the sale.
The engine block identification stampings are pictured above. Additional engine identification numbers are provided in the gallery.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a Turbo Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. The dual exhaust system is equipped with an X-pipe midsection.
