This 2018 Ford Focus ST was ordered with the ST3 package and sold new in California. The car was the subject of a manufacturer buyback related to the climate control and infotainment systems in December 2019, and it was subsequently registered in Kansas and Oklahoma before the selling dealer’s recent acquisition. Now indicating 62k miles, the car is finished in Shadow Black over Charcoal Black leather. Power is provided by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four linked with a six-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes a sunroof, xenon headlights, red-finished brake calipers, 18″ machined aluminum wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a heated steering wheel, heated Recaro front bucket seats, carbon-fiber interior accents, a Sony audio system, and SYNC 3 infotainment with navigation and mobile phone integration. The car has been modified with an open-element air intake, an MBRP exhaust system, aftermarket spoiler standoffs, RokBlokz mudflaps, and yellow-tinted fog light lenses. This Focus ST is offered at no reserve with factory literature, a Carfax report, and a branded Oklahoma title.
The car is finished in Shadow Black (G1). Exterior details include a sunroof, xenon headlights, RokBlokz mudflaps, fog lights with yellow-tinted lenses, and a hatch spoiler with aftermarket standoffs. The selling dealer states that a ding in the right-rear fender was removed via a paintless dent removal service in preparation for the sale.
Machine-finished 18″ aluminum wheels with painted pockets are wrapped in 235/40 Sailun Atrezzo SVA1 tires. The car is equipped with a sport-tuned suspension, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with red-finished calipers. The seller notes that a fastener in the left-front caliper assembly was tightened in preparation for the sale.
The heated Recaro front bucket seats and the rear bench seat are trimmed in Charcoal Black leather. Appointments include cruise control, carbon-look center console trim, molded all-weather floor mats, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and a Sony audio system along with a carbon-fiber shift knob, handbrake lever, and door panel trim. An April 2018 entry of the Carfax report states that the vehicle was “reacquired by the manufacturer pursuant to applicable state consumer warranty laws or to promote customer satisfaction”, and the selling dealer states that the dual-zone automatic climate control system and the SYNC 3 touchscreen infotainment and navigation system were subsequently replaced.
The heated steering wheel has carbon-look accents, and it fronts a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a central information display. A dash-top instrument pod with carbon-fiber trim houses gauges for oil temperature, turbocharger boost pressure, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 62k miles, approximately 75 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The turbocharged 2.0-liter Ecoboost inline-four produced 252 horsepower with 270 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is delivered to the front wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The car has been modified with an open-element air intake with Turbosmart and Graveyard Performance branding as well as an MBRP cat-back exhaust system.
