Rapper Ken Carson just released his new record More Chaos, which I only know because one of his billboards in Times Square popped up in my Instagram stories. This caught my eye because Carson‘s billboard has the phrase “More Chaos” written exactly in the Morbid Angel logo. So I decided to do some digging into Carson‘s shop and oh boy, it’s Morbid Angel ripoffs on a shirt and a box set.
The More Chaos box set and shirts have riffs on the Morbid Angel logo, while another shirt is a rip of Horna‘s logo. And look – I don’t care about parody merch. It happens all the time. But if you’re gonna do your own take on a brutal logo, there are about a thousand artists out there that can make you an original one. Why not hire one of them?
